I'm a Colorado native who has always had a love for dogs from a very young age.   I trained my first dog Skippy all the basic commands when I  was ten years old.  My adult life took me to other career paths including my work in the television industry with PBS or over 25 years.  After I decided to leave broadcasting I decided it was time to persue my love and passion for dogs. 

 

I started The Puppy Coach because I wanted to make a difference in the lives of puppies and newly adopted dogs, and for their pet parents as well.  There are so many dogs that are relinquished to shelters due to a behavioral issues that can be solved with just a little knowledge and patience.

I bring you over ten years of professional experience working with dogs of every age, breed, and temperament to make sure your 4-legged family member has fun while learning rules, manners, and boundaries.  We help you further understand how your dog communicates and how you can create an environment where it's easier to be proactive, and not reactive.   ​​
